British Computer Society - the leading professional body for those working in British IT.

Environmental Association of Universities and Colleges (EAUC) - membership organisation to promote sustainability within higher education.

Grid Computing Now! - a service concerned with the development and deployment of grid computing services and applications; it is a Knowledge Transfer Network funded by the Technology Strategy Board.

JANET - the UK's education and research network, funded by JISC. JANET provides a highly reliable high-bandwidth network connectivity and a number of associated services.

Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) - funded by the UK HE and FE funding bodies to provide world-class leadership in the innovative use of ICT to support education and research.

Society Information Technology Management (SOCITM) - the professional association for public sector ICT management.

Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association (UCISA), - the main membership body for University and College Information Services professionals.

University Print Managers' Group (UPMG) - membership organisation to promote and advance good practice within the higher education print and design environment.
