ICT Energy and Carbon Footprinting Tool Updated August 2009
An updated (August 2009) version of a simple Excel spreadsheet to help estimate the energy and carbon footprint of an institution's ICT estate. This version is designed to be more user-friendly and incorporates feedback from other institutions. Contains a worked example of the University of Sheffield. At its simplest users need only input the number of ICT devices. The tool is free to use, but a condition of use is that results are reported back to SusteIT (in confidence if necessary).
